The Children's Hospital School at Great Ormond Street needed to manage, update and report against a large volume of educational data to effectively support, monitor and track progress of the 1,300 plus pupils passing through its doors each year. Similarly, an accurate record of attendance was needed to supply the Local Authority with information for funding purposes.
With pupils, on occasions, registering for just a single day or even a single lesson, the school required a tailored information management system to be able to keep track of pupils throughout their time in school whilst at the hospital.
