About the Event

This year's ceremony was held at The Royal College of Physicians, Regent's Park and was extremely well attended by developers from across the UK who gathered to see who would be crowned the winners of 2010.

The CubeAwards10 were split into two categories in order to make them accessible to organisations of all sizes from all sectors; the "Best Public Sector Solution" and "Best Private Sector Solution", with the best entry from these categories taking the "Winner of Winners" award.

Award entries were shortlisted by a judging panel made up of representatives from FileMaker, seasoned developers and independent IT experts. The shortlisted entrants were then asked to attend a judging day where they could demonstrate their solutions to the judging panel.

The winner from each category received a crystal Cube Award. Today's ceremony saw the following winners crowned:

Winner of Winners

Cordis Technologies win the "Winner of Winners" Crystal Cube and 32GB wifi and 3G iPad.

Best Public Sector Solution

Judges Comment: "Museums are not often associated with elegance or sophisticated IT systems – so this jumps out because it is such a beautiful system which as a result is very clear, intuitive and easy to use."
