FileMaker's CubeAwards09 – The Results

Winners of FileMaker's Annual Developers of Excellence Awards are Announced

LONDON, England – 20th November 2009 – FileMaker today held the awards ceremony for its annual CubeAwards. Designed to acknowledge the achievements of FileMaker software developers in the UK, the Cube Awards continue a long-standing tradition of rewarding innovation and recognising excellence for the use of FileMaker software by both commercial developers and in-house users.

This year's ceremony was held at The Royal College of Physicians, Regent's Park and was extremely well attended by developers from across the UK who gathered to see who would be crowned the winners of 2009.

The CubeAwards09 were split into two categories in order to make them accessible to organisations of all sizes from all sectors; the "Best Public Sector Solution" and "Best Private Sector Solution", with the best entry from these categories taking the "Winner of Winners" award.

Award entries were shortlisted by a judging panel made up of representatives from FileMaker, seasoned developers and independent IT experts. The shortlisted entrants were then asked to attend a judging day where they could demonstrate their solutions to the judging panel.

The winner from each category received an iPhone 3Gs along with their crystal Cube Award while the runners-up each received one of FileMaker's prestigious crystal Cube Awards. Today's ceremony saw the following winners crowned:
